The
funeral service for William Antoine Pickens, Jr., was held
at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the Seiling-Fonda
Community Center in Seiling with Gwen Rutz, Pastor of the
Seiling Assembly of God Church, officiating. Interment followed in the Cantonment Cemetery near Canton under the
direction of the Redinger Funeral Home in Seiling.
He was known to his family and
friends as “Billy” and he was raised in Oklahoma City.
He was preceded
in death by his mother, Mary Limpy-Pickens. He is survived
by his father, William Antoine Pickens, Sr of Oklahoma City
besides other relatives and friends.
