CARRIE SUE CASE - RORABAUGH

CARRIE SUE CASE-RORABAUGH, was born February 3, 1978 at Fairview, OK.  She was the first of two daughters born to Rodger and Sue (Frazer) Case.  She departed this life in an automobile accident northwest of Fairview on Monday, August 10, 2009.  She was 31 years of age.

      Carrie was raised on the family farm northeast of Chester.  She attended kindergarten through twelfth grade at Seiling School where she graduated from high school with the class of 1996.  During her school years she was active in basketball, cheerleading and band.  She furthered her education at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater and also Vo Tech School in Stillwater where she received her Certified Nurse Aide certificate.  At the time of her tragic death, she was working as a Home Training Specialist in Stillwater.  She was a member of the Cheyenne Valley United Methodist Church and she had attended Life Church in Stillwater.

      She was united in marriage to Daniel Ray Rorabaugh, November 3, 2001 at the Heritage Manor in Aline.  They made their first home in Stillwater and in December 2006, they moved to Chester and he survives her.  She is also survived by her parents: Rodger and Sue Case of Chester; one sister: Kristin Peterson and husband Dan of Lone Grove besides several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. 

      The funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2009 at the Elm Grove Church with Pastors Orville White and Marvin Stuckey, officiating.  Interment followed in the Orion Cemetery.  Memorials can be made to the Seiling OR the Orion Fire Departments with the Redinger Funeral Home-PO Box 236-Seiling, OK 73663 serving as custodian of the funds.
