NORMA LEE SMITH
NORMA LEE
SMITH was born May 13, 1931 at Chester, Oklahoma. She departed
this life on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at St. Mary’s Regional
Medical Center in Enid. She was 78 years of age.
She
was raised at Seiling and attended Seiling School. She worked
many years as a waitress in several cafes in the Seiling area.
She liked to embroidery, sew and knit.
She
is survived by one son: Ray “Catfish” Myers and wife Earlena of
Woodward; two grandchildren: David Myers and wife Marlene and Alicia
Myers; one great grandson: Jonathon Myers; two brothers: Larry Joe
Howard and wife Patricia of Pavillion, WY and Doyle “Buddy” Howard
and wife Paula of Seiling. She is also survived by nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
The
graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 27,
2009 at the Brumfield Cemetery with Dennis Adair, Pastor of the
First Christian Church, officiating. Services are under the
direction of the Redinger Funeral Home in Seiling.
